Welcome to NORLUG
NORLUG is the Northfield Linux Users Group in Northfield, Minnesota USA - serving the entire Northfield, Faribault, and Cannon Valley areas. We are a collection of computer enthusiasts, dedicated to GNU/Linux (a powerful, free, UNIX-like operating system), Free Software and Open Source Software, as well as other related topics. Our goals are advocacy, education, support and socializing. We were formed as a user group in December of 2001.
Although our group name embodies "Linux", which is our main area of focus, some of us also use other UNIX-like/Open Source operating systems. Please do feel welcome as a part of NORLUG if you use another UNIX-like/Open Source operating system besides Linux.
